A Guessing Game

Feminists used to fight for freedom to
Elect and be electable to
Grow hair everywhere to
Not have your children to
Get paid the same
What do we struggle for now
I want to fight for women
But I can’t speak for women
Because I’m not    Black    /    Lesbian   /    Hispanic     /   Transgender    /   Asexual    /     and
Manhating
Within opinions we are discriminating
Against the voices speaking for all
Polarized and stuck to self-made labels
If the female gender is a performance
What are we playing                                                                             A guessing game
Did I not get the job because of my sex                                 or because he was more qualified
Did that guy just stare but he was too scared to talk                      or should I call it harassment
In these ambiguous moments, do I blame me                  or do I give it the benefit of the doubt
And rant about phallic supremacy
HE, not me
Maybe it should start being we
Everything is grey since
The white male and the black female
were deconstructed
